Terms of Service

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using HONE (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and 15x1 Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“15x1 Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

The App

HONE is a cognitive training application for iPhone. It provides a suite of games designed to exercise distinct domains of cognitive function including logic, memory, attention, focus, and language processing.

HONE is not a medical device.

It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or any form of cognitive decline. Individual results vary. Nothing in the App or on our website constitutes medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns.

License

Subject to these Terms, 15x1 Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use HONE on iPhone devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App

HONE PRO Subscriptions

HONE PRO is a premium subscription that unlocks full access to all games and training history. It is available in two tiers:

• Weekly — $5.99 billed every 7 days
• Annual — $29.99 billed every 12 months

Billing and renewal

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You will retain access until then.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s refund policies and must be submitted through Apple. 15x1 Labs does not issue refunds directly.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Free tier

HONE includes a free tier with limited daily access to all games. No payment is required to use the free tier.

Your Content and Data

All training data generated through your use of HONE — including scores, session history, and performance statistics — belongs to you. This data is stored locally on your device. We do not access, own, or use your training data.

You may delete your training data at any time from within the App, or by deleting the App from your device.

Intellectual Property

HONE and all content within it — including but not limited to game designs, graphics, text, sounds, and software — are the property of 15x1 Labs, LLC and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Disclaimer of Warranties

HONE is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant any specific cognitive outcomes or improvements from use of the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 15x1 Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use HONE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of HONE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
